Info and signups are available now:
http://www.collegelax.us/tv.php
The page includes information on how to access a demostration video stream that you can test for free! If you are attempting to hook your computer up to your big screen TV, you can use this free video stream to test things out.
If you are planning to sign up for the web casts, I suggest you do so early to avoid the rush and get the automated email with your login info.
Let me know if you have any questions or problems.... Thanks.

Sonny,
If a team losses in the tournament and heads back home, what is the latest that they can sign up for the video stream? There are 22 teams that this could potentially happen to.
Thanks,

Anytime, up until the last game on Saturday night. Registration is available NOW through the next Saturday night.
Again.... If you are going to purchase the TOURNAMENT PASS, I encourage you to check the demo video stream AND buy early (to test things out).

They don't get to lose and go home until they have finished all of their game obligations, so the rush would be on Saturday.

WANT TO TEST THE DEMO VIDEO STREAM?
Want to see if your internet access is suitable for watching our webcast??
Test out your internet connection for FREE BEFORE you buy.
Fire up Windows Media Player. Go to the File/Open URL menu and insert this URL:
http://onyx.streamguys.com/demo_locked/pinball.wmv
Make sure you don't have any trailing spaces on that URL link.
Username = demo
Password = demo
If everything works OK, you should be able to view a short movie and you are good to go!

are these games only going to be available as a live stream, or will you be able to access them as an archive as well?

Unfortunately, no. For the second year in a row, we will be selling cheap DVD's afterwards of all four televised webcast games (Two D1 semis, D2 Championship, D1 Championship). We will be taking DVD orders later this week online.

This is going to be a live webcast of the Fox College Sports television broadcast. 4 camera setup with replays, etc.
Very exciting stuff. You won't want to miss the live MCLA games this weekend.

A question - when I've tried to access CollegeLax in the evenings, it's been painfully slow, so much so that sometimes I've given up. Will the issues with demand affect the streaming of the video?

Not at all. This video web stream is coming from a separate professional company in California that specializes in serving video through the web.
In fact, you won't even go through the CollegeLAX web site at all to view the web stream via Windows Media Player.

I would love the have the chance to catch these games at a later date via the web. Is there a way to record them without routing to my TV? I know that we can't retroactively watch other then purchasing the DVDs.
