Which game should CollegeLAX (radio) broadcast as the "featured" game on Tuesday night? And why?

asu/ucsb looks very intriguing... a rematch of a rematch? UCSB's history at the tournament against an offensive powerhouse in ASU. seems like an easy pick to me here

I vote for Georgia - Sonoma. Seeding wise it figures to be the closest game. Although Id be happy happy with any game except the ASU - UCSB game. Those two teams are in the same conference and have already played twice this year (the most recent result not being close). Id rather hear teams that haven't played yet this year.

My vote goes to SFU v FSU. Mainly because they use the same letters in for their abbreviated school names, but also because SFU is going to get spanked.

I think Sonoma and SFU will win their games handily. The UCSB-Arizona rematch looks good on paper, but I'm worried its going to be like Shamrock - Ortiz 3... for you non-UFC fans, it wasn't pretty.
I guess that leaves CSU - VT. I haven't really heard/seen much of VT this year, and CSU always puts on a show. Let's see what the SELC brings against the perennial RMLC powerhouse.

Haha, what's with the SFU hating? Have you seen them play recently? They're far removed from the SFU of the past three years, who quite frankly didn't belong to be in the tournament or the tournament conversation (and weren't).

Time for SFU to prove they deserve the ranking. I'm with RB on this one, SFU gets worked over by FSU.

I'm just warming up for the UMD hating. I just think SFU has the biggest upset potential. I was not impressed with their schedule. I think their ranking was based on a win against an Oregon team that doesn't deserve to be mentioned in this thread. Their other win was against SSU who got beaten up pretty bad by my Gauchos. On top of that, they haven't played against a tournament worthy teams since the Sonoma game a couple of months ago. I also think it is natural for Americans to hate on Canadians. It's kind of like breathing.

not arguing that SFU has things to prove, but what on FSU's resume makes people think they are that much better then SFU? to me they each have question marks...

I think either of the SELC-involved games would be most interesting, there's been lots of discussion about how the SELC stacks up against the "perennials" this year. ASU/UCSB: Been there, done that. SFU/FSU: Intriguing, but likely not to the level of the others.

FSU has LOST to BC, VT and Georgia. Sure, they beat UCSB... but everyone on the west coast has pointedly tried to ignore the disaster that was UCSB's Florida trip, so I don't know how that makes FSU better than SFU. I'm sticking with my Clan over 'Noles prediction, and I bet it'll be a shootout, with the Clan coming out on top something like 16-12.

UGA won the SELC so if you're going to feature any of the selc teams its should be them. Also the #8 #9 game so it should be pretty good

I want the SFU-FSU game also, but I'm with the

A couple more things to take into consideration when looking at the FSU v SFU game. SFU 26 players on their roster while FSU has 42 players (and a kid named Milt Champberlin...has to count for something). I remember seeing the old SFU teams in St. Louis with maybe 20 players. Looked very tough for them.
Weather may also play a major role. It's usually in the 90's in Dallas during the tournament. I looked at the weather in Vancouver and it isn't going to break 60 this week. I don't know if they use Celsius in Canada or not, but 60 degrees Fahrenheit is not that warm. When we were prepping for Dallas, we used to practice in full sweats to get ready for the heat. It worked pretty well.
I read an earlier post about Canadian style lacrosse. I never really factored that in. I've played against some Canadians and it definitely throws you off a little bit. So I'll give them that.
Anyways...I'm excited to see the Clan back at Nationals. I loved seeing a team with such a small roster work their butts off to keep up with the bigger teams. Good luck to SFU, but I just think they have the biggest upset potential.
