Most intriguing matchup?

I think BYU- BC should be a good one, with those teams meeting last year in the quarterfinals. Should an exciting tournament overall.

Looks like ASU is going to have to give the Gauchos the business for the 3rd time this year.

Did someone say HAT TRICK.

GREAT draw ASU! I think they'll be able to get past both UCSB and UMD for a date in the final four.

I think Sonoma beats Georgia easily and will put up a great fight with Michigan.

SFU and BYU should meet for a rematch of their regular season match-up, which should be a lot better with a much improved SFU team that hasn't lost since BYU took 'em in their first D1 game of the year.

The most intriguing match-up is CSU-Chapman, provided there are no upsets. Which CSU team will come to play?

Can't wait for Dallas! 8)

4 Really Interesting First Round Games:

UCSB/ASU- Hard to beat any team 3 times in one season...Big revenge facor here.

BYU/Boston College- Good rematch from last year.

UGA/Sonoma- UGA's goalie can keep them in any game.

FSU/SFU- This has potential for a fast paced, high scoring affair.

I would put some money on the Gauchos in this game, but last time I did that, they lost to Florida and I never ended up paying Danny. I think you should ask Nick Dean and UCSD what happened when they faced UCSB for the third time at Nationals.

It looks like a great field with not too many walk-overs in the first round. I was scheduled to be in TX for a while starting this month and am now even more PO'ed that it got pushed back!

Good luck to all!

Terrible draw for ASU. Very hard to beat a team, especially a tournament-tested team like UCSB, 3 times in one season.

I like BYU's draw. They shouldn't have any trouble with BC in the first round and I actually think SFU will be a better match up for them then ASU would have been in the 2nd round. (will tyler westfall be back for the tourney?) Michigan is obviously playing great this year and already beat BYU but BYU just has their number when they meet in the tournament.

My prediction: No upsets in the first round. All 8 top seeds advance, and then it gets interesting. . .

upset: TAMU beats UMD. its been a while since UMD has played anyone of note and combine that with the game being in Texas, i see TAMU stealing the game.
