Do you get bonus points if you are within the margin but choose the wrong team? like if you have someone winning by 2, but they lose by 1?

I don't believe so, but this is an area that I wouldn't mind if others tested more extensively.UofMLaxGoalie11 wrote:Do you get bonus points if you are within the margin but choose the wrong team? like if you have someone winning by 2, but they lose by 1?

Ill be sure to count my points and point out any inconsistencies that do not benefit me.

Edit: Upon further review, there is not conclusive evidence to overturn the current system. Dan will be charged with a timeout.

Then again, that's a whole 134 points Canadian!
Nice try Nate. Your dollar is and always will be worth less down here. We give you 112 points in your bracket challenge using today's currency exchange rate (one Canada $ = .918781 U.S. Dollar. We'll also adjust SFU's goal for the currency exchange rate and the score of the Clansmen win over the Huskies in April will be downgraded to 18-14. Thanks for reminding me!

And the Winner is...
If Oregon wins the title, Mutigr5 wins the bracket challenge, A Division.
If BYU wins, Daraba83 is the winner.
Everyone else is playing for 2nd place or lower, including yours truly with my best-ever showing, currently tied-for 6th. When I looked at the numbers I realized that even had I stuck with NU over UM I still would not have won the way things turned out, so I feel a little less foolish. Those two pickers above have been unbelievably accurate on the outcome and scores through the semi-finals. Hats off, whoever you are.

would it be possible to get rid of some of the repeats like buclax13? I dont think we need 4 of the same person sitting at 27th. Theyre killing me sitting at 31 right now, behind 4 of them.

The winners of the CollegeLax Pick "Em contest are:
Division A - Daraba83 with 15 out of 15 correct!
Division B - was a tie between socallax and cecilc. Since I can only subsidize one winner, I went to my instant tiebreaker, which was their performance in the A bracket. cecilc finished 119th, while socallax was 165th.
Congrats to our winners for '07. If you would PM Sonny with your sizes and address info, they will be shipped out to you.

Well thank God for tie-breakers !!
Does it make any difference that I was actually "on-staff" out in Frisco this year ? I was one-third of the photography crew that was shooting the tournament ....
