Wonderful Venue, great hospitality.
I thought the staff was outstanding, all around. There were a few opportunities I heard of that the trainers/medical personnel onsite really did a nice job with the kids they were working with.
It was cool also, the way the fields were set up so that different teams could watch each other, interact, make friends, keep track of scores, etc.
Nice job to the committee and everyone involved. I know a tremendous amount of work goes into this and it shows!

A few things I will take form this week:
The complex: The fields that saw action earlier in the week were great and the stadium is great. The HD big screen was great.
The showing by the PCLL and PNCLL teams in the tournament.
BYU winning its third title.
UCSB and Oregon and the hearts of their players and coaches.
The B Division competition.
The staff of the tournament. I may be biased but Dan Morris did a great job.
The radio broadcast by Sonny and Ken. Radio coverage of our games! Who would have dreamed this 11 years ago when we started?
The commercial for the MCLA. Well done and great production value.
The telecast of the game. The cameras covered the action well and got every thing.
Lettuce sandwiches. Next time you are in Frisco, you have to check them out. They are amazing!
Stadium Boy and his friendly demeanor.
Did I mention Bone Daddy's and their helpful wait staff?

Look below for a comment from Sonny about the tip jar.![]()
Seriously though, be sure to do it.
The tip jar has seen one contribution all week long.
Looks like the media staff won't be getting any free drinks or dinner this weekend....
Just so everyone knows, Sonny volunteers his time and efforts to bring you guys this wonderful converage. The google ads and such help defray the cost of the site some, but it's getting more and more expensive to operate as we add new features. The server cost alone is $125/month.
Let's all help out Sonny to make sure he can continue to improve the quality of the coverage this site provides.
Also after watching the loads put on the server this year I am confident we'll have to go to a two server system next year.
Help Sonny out! A buck or two will help out a lot!

Don't forget Cricket. She is amazing. And her house in the Grand Canyon.

Attendance?
Anybody have the attendance figures from the Finals? How big were the crowds for Friday's semi-finals?

From the press box, I would estimate that there were about 450-500 people in attendance. I don't think that admission was charged. There were heaps of BYU fans and a good number of Oregon fans as well. Both were very loud. The rest of the crowd was made up of other tournament teams, their families and locals.
