Drop the ladies???

Since the formation of the MCLA does that mean we are dropping the girls from the same time/location/facilities for the national championship because we are now the MENS Collegiate Lacrosse Association.............

I am not the autority on this, but from what I have read US Lacrosse will be handling the women's tourney, and are handling our tourney, so I'd guess that the answer to your question is yes, we are dropping them.

The WDIA national championship will be held seperate from the MCLA national championship in May, 2007.

The MCLA are 99.9% sure they will be back in Dallas. The WDIA/USL haven't announced where their event will be held yet.

I believe they are looking for new fields around the Dallas area.

You probably wouldn't like the fact that your team dues subsidized the women's tourney for their first couple of years and that "required equity" held back the men's tournament.

That said, I think we can all appreciate certain aspects of the ladies game.

That's a shame. There's plenty of fields in the Dallas area, and even in Plano for that matter, which are a lot better.
