Yea...you figured me out. I know nothing about this game or what's going on. I just tape ankles and put my head in the sand for the rest of the game. Thanks for pointing that out...you got me.

By the way...how many games did Utah win in the RMLC this season?

They had a better showing in the RMLC tournament than BYU did...

really? I thought they both lost. That 1 win in conference play against Utah St. really doesn't look all that impressive.

And lost to UCSB, UCSD, Utah, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Sonoma State, and Arizona. Plus, beating BYU isn't a rarity, numerous teams did it in the early season, including Cal Poly, right? But I think it is safe to say that the voters probably used BYU as the common opponent in deciding Utah and Cal Poly, oh wait, Utah played Cal Poly and Utah won.

What was I talking about again?

chapman and chico both beat Utah, maybe they should be there instead of UTAH.

Everyone Poly lost to is in the tourney. UTAH is the only team not in dallas they lost to. Can UTAH say the same. Voters looked at the hole picture.

You two yahoos have got to be kidding. I don't know if GummI plays for Utah but Dig certainly does, and you two come on here and start bagging on the a guy (Dan) who has stuck up for Utah on this board as much anyone else over the last couple months. Not only that, all of the BYU faithful who come to this board have maintained the position that Utah is a quality program, worthy of a trip to Dallas. It reflects badly on your program when you come here whining about how you have been "robbed" and disparaging those who have supported you.

I think Lindenwood should be atleast top 5. Who ever came up with this poll needs to open their eyes. UCSB shouldnt even be on there.

I think Missouri should be number 1, and Lindenwood should be number 2 in the country. 2 very solid teams.

Maybe the top 5 of "Teams who ain't done squat

As for Utah, as much as it pains me to see another mediocre team stay at home may I suggest they save their complaints for their friends and family? They lost to Chico, which is like getting beaten in a drag race by a fat chick in a YUGO, then failed to make noise in their league tourney. Compound that with a bitter sense of entitlement that has pissed off the BYU guys who defend them and their teams merits on a consistent basis- though I will say pissing the BYU chat club off is something; They practically have an edict from God to be the nicest people in the world- and I would guess they have terminated any empathy in their direction.

I do hope that Lindenwood wins all their consolation games if only to hear a chorus of supporters gloating over a 3-1 tourney record...

i usually just read these things cause i'm bored often. i try not to read to much into them. however, everybody just needs to stop. i don't know who this gummibear guy is or anyone else saying that ucsb doesn't deserve to be there and that there is a wcll bias and all that crap. i think this is just getting out of hand. i'm a senior on this utah team, and i do believe we should have been there. i wish alot of the polls throughout the season went differently (ex. us only moving up one after beating sonoma) but they didn't. we can't change that. it's just tough being a senior and helping build this team from scratch, and then basically getting nothing at the end of the day. we didn't help ourselves by losing our first two games of the season. we had quite a few chinks we hadn't addressed when we played those games and we suffered the consequences.
we played AWFUL against byu and csu(the first time) and we suffered the consequences. we almost pull the csu upset in our tourney, feel good about our chances for dallas, and then get the knife to the stomach in hearing about michigan's loss. it's all just a tough pill to swallow. i sure didn't want to end my career like this.
that being said, cal poly is just as deserving a team to be there. the game with them was one of the most fun i'd ever taken part in. i hope they tear it up in dallas.
all in all, i wish we could have gone to plano. nothing can change that we're not gonna be there, so all we can do is wish the other teams luck, and that's all we should do. basically, the opinions of most of these people on here talking us up post-elimination are not the opinions of those on the team, except that of parker's, who needs to lock it up.
on a sidenote, trainerdan, while i do appreciate the support you've given utah throughout the year, i don't appreciate your personal attack on jeremy johnson in the other thread. he's a phenomenal goalie and what held our defense together all year long. while he had an average game against your team, ask any other rmlc or wcll team we played if he deserves all-american. glen is a great goalie as well but he was the first to come and congratulate his twin brother (whom he thought was jeremy) on his first team recognition.
i resent paragraphs and capitalization.
