The UC Davis men’s lacrosse team is seeking an assistant coach for the 2007-2008 season. Qualified candidates will preferably have experience playing and/or coaching lacrosse at the high school or collegiate level.
UC Davis is coming off two successful seasons which included a Western Collegiate Lacrosse League playoff appearance, an eight game winning streak, and victories over rivals Stanford and Cal. With a strong cast of returning sophomores and juniors, as well as a promising freshman class, Davis is looking to improve upon its recent success.
Davis is located 12 miles west of Sacramento, and within reasonable commuting distance from the San Francisco Bay Area. The team can be flexible with practice times for the right candidate. Salary depends on experience and qualifications, and volunteers are always welcome.
The Davis team can be e-mailed at ucdavislacrosse@gmail.com, or team president Owen Goldstrom at okgoldstrom@ucdavis.edu.
