Head Lacrosse Coach. Available: 2006-2007 season

Position Description: Boys’ Head Lacrosse Coach

In addition to strong lacrosse knowledge and experience, candidate must be professional; positive; a high energy carrier of strong motivational skills; understands the importance of developing character in young athletes as well as the successful running of a high school program. Experience as a Head Lacrosse Coach is a plus but not required. A community coach will need to complete courses in coaching education and first aid training as mandated by GHSA. Potential as professional, certified educator is desired but not necessary. Availability should include 5 days per week for the length of the season, which runs from February through mid-May. An assistant coach is available who has significant sports experience, though only one year prior with lacrosse. Practice hours are 4:00 – 5:30 during the season. RMA has an enthusiastic, dedicated group of lacrosse players with a 6-year tradition of play. The team plays under the North Georgia Lacrosse League. In 2006, the Riverside Military Academy Eagles Lacrosse Team was awarded the 2006 North Georgia Lacrosse League Sportsmanship Award.
