The Indiana University, Bloomington, Men’s Lacrosse team is seeking a head/assistant coach for the 2005/2006 season and beyond. This past year, the team was extremely competitive and was 3, 1 goal games away from breaking into the top 25 for the second season in a row. Returning the entire team except for 2 seniors will provide a solid core to build on. This is a wonderful opportunity for a coach to put the pieces together and take the program to the next level. The established men’s lacrosse program at Indiana University needs a coach with a strong knowledge and history of lacrosse and the tools necessary to take the program to a higher, more competitive level. The team has a dedicated, hard working group of guys that need an equally dedicated, driven and hard working coach to take the team back into the top 25 polls and a national tournament birth. The responsibilities of the coach will include, but not be limited to, coaching, administrative duties associated with running a team with the aid of the executive board, recruiting and other duties that will be discussed and determined by the executive board. The head coach will receive a negotiable base salary of $5000-$7500 with incentives to earn more based on performance, in addition to team apparel as deemed fit.
