Santa Rosa Junior College, just 45 minutes north of San Francisco, seeks qualified applicants for a head men’s lacrosse coach. The team will begin its second season as a charter member of the California Junior College Lacrosse Association during the 2014-2015 academic year.
The chosen individual will be responsible for the guidance and operation of the Men’s Lacrosse Club. Responsibilities include recruiting, managing the team, budget preparation, fund raising, game/practice management, mentoring players and other duties normally associated with being the head coach of an intercollegiate club program. Candidates must demonstrate significant knowledge of lacrosse, proven success in coaching lacrosse, the ability to recruit, develop and motivate student-athletes. The ideal candidate will also show a strong commitment to the academic success of the student-athletes.
