University of Idaho (Moscow, ID - near Washington State U., Spokane)
Men's Head Coach. Available: Immediately. Deadline: August 9, 2013.
The University of Idaho men’s lacrosse program, a growing, progressive program, is seeking a head coach.

General Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate an excellent command and practical knowledge of the sport

• Good people and communication skills

• Know and follow appropriate policies and guidelines of the NCAA/MCLA

• Demonstrated ability to inspire student-athletes to develop their fullest potential on and off the field

• Provide clear and regular communication to the Men’s Lacrosse Board and university representatives

• Demonstrate fiscal responsibility to be able to manage the team to a defined budget

• Provide leadership in identifying fundraising opportunities and support and participate in all fundraising activities of the club

Coaching Responsibilities:

• Attend all practices and games in Moscow, Idaho during the fall and spring lacrosse seasons

• Selection and supervision of paid and volunteer assistant coaches and other support personnel (statistician, etc.)

• Direction of the team strength and conditioning program

• Define and communicate the schedule and management of all team practices

• Define and communicate the schedule of spring and fall games and scrimmages, including organized team events

• Monitor player injuries and rehabilitation

• Maintenance and security of team equipment, supplies, and uniforms

• Develop a recruiting and retention plan to meet roster requirements and provide continued contact with perspective players

• Evaluation of players academic progress and eligibility

• Provide regular updates on the team to all appropriate media (web site, Facebook page, newsletters, e-mail, etc.) Salary: Depends on experience. Appointment: Part-Time
