Men's Head Coach. Available: Immediately. Deadline: July 10, 2013.
The Florida State University men's lacrosse team is seeking qualified applicants for multiple positions on our coaching staff. We are looking to hire a head coach, who is either an offensive or defensive coordinator, and two assistants. These positions are responsible in assisting with the overall operations of the program as well as working with the Executive Board. The team’s selection committee will be hiring these coaches.

The head coach will preferably have prior collegiate coaching experience, but successful high school coaches and recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply. Collegiate playing experience is highly desirable. A strong candidate will have great coaching and leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, self-control, respect for all, a flexible schedule with the ability to travel on weekends (Friday included), and recruiting experience. Scouting and game plan preparation are a must as well as practice planning and execution. Experience in fundraising and/or business development is highly valuable. Candidate will also attend yearly league meetings with the executive board members as well as work alongside the board in making the schedule for the upcoming seasons.

Florida State is a highly competitive team that competes for the SELC Division 1 conference championship yearly and often travels to the MCLA national championship. The team practices twice a week and has two workouts a week in the fall. In the spring, we practice five times a week and have games almost every weekend after Valentine’s Day. We are looking for serious applicants who want to win a national championship.
