Men's Head Coach. Available: Immediately.
The University of Arizona men’s lacrosse team, a club rich in tradition and rich in young talent is seeking a well qualified individual to assume the position of head coach. We are looking for a person with upper tier college experience. This is an amazing opportunity for someone to assume leadership of all facets of this program and take it to its first national championship.

The head coach will be responsible for the following:

Must be actively involved in recruiting during and out of season.

Will work with the Executive Board and University Recreation Department in determining a fall and spring schedule, coordinating practice logistics and coordinating all operational aspects of the program.

Will attend all mandated MCLA and SLC meetings on behalf of the Club.

Will be responsible for hiring and direction of assistant coaches.

Will provide a professional, structured environment with a lacrosse regimen that promotes personal, academic and athletic achievement and development.

Promote the program locally and coordinate fund raising strategies through the establishment and maintenance of alumni relationships.

The salary for this position is highly competitive, and the candidate will have the ability to supplement his income with the expected holding of camps and teaching clinics to the exploding number of youth players in the area. It is also expected that in the off-seasons the head coach and assistants will assume some coaching responsibilities with the local elite youth and high school traveling teams, which will also supplement their normal income.

The successful candidate should be ready to assume duties immediately upon hiring. Please forward letter of interest along with comprehensive resume. Appointment: Full-Time, 9 months.
