The Men’s Lacrosse Club at the University of California, Irvine is now accepting applications for the position of head coach. UCI is a large, public University with consistently high national academic rankings. UCI is located in the southern California city of Irvine, a short drive from Los Angeles and minutes from Newport Beach. The Men’s Lacrosse Club, although still a relatively new team competes with a high quality national schedule in the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League of the US Lacrosse MDIA B division. This is a part time appointment with duties beginning in mid-September. Primary responsibilities involve coaching and managing the Men’s Lacrosse program in coordination with the club executive committee and the club sports director. Once hired, the head coach will work with the executive committee to form the assistant coaching staff. Requirements include coaching experience in men’s lacrosse, good organizational and field management skills. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
